Job Description

Key Account Manager focused on acquiring new customers for IAM solutions with a B2B sales emphasis. Driving sales cycles from prospecting to contract closure.

Responsibilities:

  • New customer acquisition: Independently identifying, approaching, and acquiring new customers in the DACH market.
  • Lead management: Qualifying leads from marketing and partner activities as well as proactively developing the market.
  • Consulting & presentations: Analyzing customer requirements, developing appropriate solution proposals, and delivering product presentations (remote & on-site) together with our PreSales team.
  • Negotiation: Managing the entire sales cycle – from initial contact and proposal preparation to successful contract closing.
  • Team collaboration: Close coordination with Presales, Marketing, and Partner Management for efficient market activities.
  • Market monitoring: Actively tracking market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales of software solutions, ideally in Identity & Access Management or IT security.
  • Proven success in new customer acquisition – hunter mentality with a strong sense for customer needs.
  • Ability to explain complex solutions clearly.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English.
  • Independent, structured working style with high self-motivation.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events.
