Job Description

Key Account Manager für Asthma- und CRSwNP-Therapien bei AstraZeneca, einem forschenden Pharmaunternehmen. Betreuung von Ärzt:innen, Kliniken und Gesundheitsentscheidern im österreichischen Außendienstgebiet.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently and strategically manage the sales territory covering parts of Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians and nursing staff
  • Manage and strategically develop relevant accounts in outpatient and hospital settings
  • Identify market potential and derive and implement appropriate measures
  • Continuously analyze and plan accounts and monitor performance
  • Conduct scientifically sound discussions and present clinical data
  • Plan, organize and conduct smaller scientific events
  • Participate in training programs and congresses
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Brand Team, Medical Affairs, Marketing and Market Access
  • Systematically document activities in the CRM system
  • Continuously develop professionally and personally
  • Position the established biologic among pulmonologists, ENT specialists, hospitals and other healthcare decision-makers

Requirements:

  • Completed pharmaceutical sales representative examination or a degree in human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or pharmacy
  • Experience in pharmaceutical field sales, ideally in a hospital environment or specialty care
  • Experience in respiratory medicine, CRSwNP or severe asthma is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of the Austrian pharmaceutical market and healthcare system, as well as an understanding of hospital structures and relevant decision-making and care pathways
  • Strong negotiation, sales and communication skills, together with a structured, analytical and proactive working style
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems
  • Experience with digital campaigns is desirable
  • Class B driver's license
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the sales territory
