Job Description
Key Account Manager overseeing strategic partner relations and sales in Germany. Engaging with clients to optimize IT systems and drive growth in product segments.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for account management and sales of a portfolio with strategic partners
- Analysis of growth potential at customers and development and implementation of strategies to realize it
- Development of partner strategies and cooperation concepts
- Continuous process and cost optimization
- Preparation of proposals and contract negotiations with customers
- Responsibility for the revenue and profit development of the product segment
- Acquisition, establishment and development of new customer relationships and the opening up of new market segments
- Regular, independent contact maintenance and relationship management as well as generating new contacts
- Targeted exploitation and strategic expansion of partner potential / cross-selling
- Development and presentation of suitable product and service packages
- Support for target-group-relevant events and presentations
- Ongoing analysis of the market, competition and customer situation and preparation of forecasts and sales reports
Requirements:
- Successfully completed commercial or technical training and/or a degree in business administration/economics
- Professional experience in a comparable position, ideally at a value-add distributor or at a value-add reseller/manufacturer
- Sales experience in an IT environment (IT product and market knowledge)
- Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills
- Outstanding negotiation and consulting skills
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Autonomous, structured and self-directed way of working
- High problem-solving ability and resilience
