Job Description
Lead Analyst enabling commercial data, CRM analytics, and AI for Johnson & Johnson’s orthopaedics business. Building trusted datasets, KPI frameworks, and responsible GenAI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end analytical and AI enablement for DePuy Synthes global Commercial systems and operations
- Build and govern customer data assets with source-of-truth datasets, data definitions, quality monitoring, documented logic, and reproducibility
- Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
- Prototype and evaluate generative AI use cases such as message variant generation, subject line testing, content summarization, and agent-assist
- Apply guardrails, human validation, and measurement to GenAI solutions
- Partner on analytics intake and prioritization for CRM and other Commercial platforms
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured hypotheses, analytical plans, and deliverables
- Define and standardize KPI frameworks and translate business needs into clean, usable data models
- Communicate data structure insights to leaders and cross-functional partners
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, consent, security, and AI governance policies
- Identify bias and fairness risks and propose mitigations
- Coach analysts on analytical rigor, SQL best practices, and experimentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or marketing/customer analytics, including hands-on CRM/lifecycle measurement
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and CTEs
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer to build, automate, and optimize end-to-end data workflows
- Ability to clean, blend, and transform large, complex datasets from multiple sources
- Strong knowledge of Orthopaedics products, procedures, and customer profiles
- Experience translating business questions into hypotheses, analytical approaches, and clear recommendations on optimal data structure
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence without direct authority
- Knowledge of CRM data privacy concepts, including consent, suppression, and PII handling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create executive-ready materials
- Experience with CRM and Commercial platforms such as Salesforce Life Science Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Movemedical, or Tableau Server
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Reltio, AWS, Snowflake, SAP, Redshift, or Databricks
- Experience with customer identity resolution, attribution approaches, and performance concepts
- Hands-on experience evaluating or implementing GenAI solutions, including prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, and guardrails
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau and semantic modeling
