Job Description
Lead Back End Developer responsible for backend development in Node.js at Dentsu World Services. Engaging in system integration and API management in collaborative team settings.
Responsibilities:
- Write code and scripts in Node.js to enable data flow between systems;
- Develop and manage REST APIs to facilitate communication between different platforms and services;
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes and systems;
- Collaborate with other development professionals and stakeholders to understand technical needs and ensure robust integrations;
- Create status reports and highlight potential issues for the Project Manager;
- Participate in technical meetings and project ceremonies;
- Mentor and provide technical development for team members;
- Serve as a technical reference and point of expertise for the team;
- Drive leadership initiatives and provide business support;
- Work closely with client contacts.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Node.js;
- Experience with Azure Functions Apps and AWS Lambda (multicloud experience is a plus);
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
- Experience integrating REST APIs;
- Ability to work in agile, collaborative environments;
- Advanced English (verbal and written communication).
- Experience with Python;
- Knowledge of Azure;
- Experience with AI implementations (Prompt Engineering, Agents, MCP, RAG)
