Job Description

Lead Compensation Program Manager at Unity, driving global compensation strategies and infrastructure. Partnering with recruiting to ensure data-driven and competitive pay structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Trend Synthesis & Strategic Benchmarking: Lead global compensation research and benchmarking strategies, translating market shifts into actionable insights and proactive recommendations that maintain Unity’s competitive edge.
  • Global Salary Infrastructure: Own the end-to-end design, implementation, and audit of global salary structures, utilizing sophisticated modeling to ensure ranges are fiscally sustainable and aligned with our philosophy.
  • Job Architecture Execution: Drive the global launch of the Job Architecture redesign, managing the high-velocity mapping and calibration of roles while partnering with People Tech for seamless system integration.
  • Process Innovation & AI Leverage: Build scalable compensation toolkits and automated models, actively integrating AI tools to increase team velocity and enhance the accuracy of complex analytics.
  • Strategic Advisory & Recruiting Partnership: Serve as a key consultant to Recruiting and Leadership, providing expert guidance and structural guardrails to resolve ambiguous pay situations and facilitate complex offers.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of leading compensation infrastructure, salary structures, and market strategy at scale within the technology sector.
  • Ability to drop into fast-moving, new-and-mid-stream projects and deliver immediate value with minimal ramp-up time.
  • Proficiency in building complex, automated models from scratch in Google Sheets or similar apps.
  • Previous experience or a robust interest in integrating AI tools into the compensation workflow to drive efficiency.
  • Experience acting as the escalation point for complex cases where data is thin; providing "right for the right reasons" guidance.
