Job Description

Lead bunny.net’s Developer Platform, building unified deployment tools across compute, scripting, and database products. Guiding a small engineering team from discovery through production delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Developer Platform and lead a small engineering team
  • Design developer primitives such as projects, environments, secrets, and logs across Magic Containers, Edge Scripting, and Database
  • Shape Developer Platform product direction from discovery through delivery and iteration
  • Turn developer insights into clear priorities
  • Identify and resolve platform or product decisions that could break the unified developer experience
  • Provide context and clarity for teams to make independent decisions
  • Set direction, develop people, give feedback, and maintain a high bar for shipped and operated work
  • Build alongside engineers across prototypes, APIs, dashboard, instrumentation, documentation, and production code
  • Define and measure success from first deployment through adoption and expansion
  • Work with Compute, Frontend, Design, and Product Marketing across the dashboard, API, CLI, and documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience owning the full discovery → delivery → iteration loop at meaningful scale, or readiness to take on end-to-end ownership
  • Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous problems into meaningful outcomes
  • Comfort with data, including funnels, retention curves, measurement, and experimentation
  • Business and market literacy: ICP, pricing, competition, revenue drivers, and product strategy
  • Strong technical depth to challenge solutions, make trade-offs, and ship production changes
  • High standards for quality, reliability, performance, security, and customer trust
  • Track record of helping others make better decisions and take more ownership
  • Clear communication, high ownership, and low ego
  • AI fluency across research, analysis, prototyping, coding, testing, and communication, with accountability for quality
  • Experience building developer platforms, deployment tools, or developer-experience products is an advantage
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and debugging workloads on similar platforms is an advantage
  • Comfort speaking with customers and working deeply with technology
  • Experience leading engineers and developing people is an advantage
  • Must be located in Europe, ideally within CET ±3 hours
