Job Description

Legal Operations Manager supporting Textile Exchange's Legal team with compliance, efficiency, and legal document management. Focused on enhancing legal operations and leveraging technology for improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support to Textile Exchange Legal Counsel
  • Legal compliance and tracking, managing state and charitable registrations, and helping identify compliance risks
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency
  • Ensure the Legal team leverages technology and innovation
  • Promote continuous improvement and training
  • Develop an effective know-how system to capture and propagate knowledge
  • Document preparation, review, tracking deadlines, and maintaining digital records
  • Support CLM data governance to ensure data consistency, compliance, and accuracy across systems
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and resolve quality issues
  • Maintain contract and other legal templates
  • Track contracts through the contract lifecycle
  • Conduct legal research and assist with managing legal matters
  • Submit invoices and assist with tracking legal expenses

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree combined with experience in legal operations, legal technology, and project management
  • Advanced degrees in law or MBA an added bonus
  • Experience with data governance and data management
  • Significant experience with contract management and working with Contract Lifecyle Management (CLM) software
  • Experience with signing software, e.g., Adobe Sign, DocuSign
  • Proven success in project coordination
  • A strong attention to detail and solid organization skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives
