Job Description
German litigation lawyer reviewing AI answers to German-law questions for Mercor. Comparing LLM outputs and scoring legal accuracy against standardized rubrics.
Responsibilities:
- Run identical prompts across two AI/LLM platforms
- Compare outputs side by side
- Score each response against a standardized rubric
- Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation
- Support benchmarking of AI systems’ ability to answer real German-law questions
- Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of law-firm experience in litigation, disputes, or contentious practice (3+ years preferred)
- Current in-house lawyers must have moved in-house within the last 2 years and have prior law-firm experience
- Qualified to practise in Germany as a Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin
- Strong command of German litigation and procedural law
- Native or fluent German
- Precise written communication
- Ability to work independently according to a rubric and meet deadlines
- Independent contractor status
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates
