Job Description

German litigation lawyer reviewing AI answers to German-law questions for Mercor. Comparing LLM outputs and scoring legal accuracy against standardized rubrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Run identical prompts across two AI/LLM platforms
  • Compare outputs side by side
  • Score each response against a standardized rubric
  • Submit concise written feedback for every evaluation
  • Support benchmarking of AI systems’ ability to answer real German-law questions
  • Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of law-firm experience in litigation, disputes, or contentious practice (3+ years preferred)
  • Current in-house lawyers must have moved in-house within the last 2 years and have prior law-firm experience
  • Qualified to practise in Germany as a Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin
  • Strong command of German litigation and procedural law
  • Native or fluent German
  • Precise written communication
  • Ability to work independently according to a rubric and meet deadlines
  • Independent contractor status
  • Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates
