Job Description

Manager Digital Platforms overseeing strategic direction and management of Amcor’s global digital channels. Leading digital transformation initiatives for user experience and content effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the strategic direction, execution, end-to-end management, performance management, governance and continuous optimization of Amcor’s global digital communication channels
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives that improve user experience, information architecture, accessibility, search visibility, content effectiveness, and operational efficiency
  • Oversee day-to-day management of Amcor.com and other digital platforms
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability assessments to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools, and platforms that improve digital effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI-enabled workflows, and enhanced digital processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital, Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in digital platform, website, or digital marketing roles
  • Proven experience managing corporate websites or digital platforms end-to-end, including content, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Strong experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and coordinating web development activities
  • Solid understanding of SEO (technical and content) and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Proven ability to manage external agencies, developers, and technology vendors
  • Experience implementing governance models, content workflows, and digital best practices
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and compliance requirements
  • Experience in user experience (UX), performance optimization, and data-driven improvement
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global or matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong ability to lead self and others through high levels of ambiguity
  • Budget management
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Additional languages a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills in complex projects involving multiple senior stakeholders
  • Digitally (IT) savvy and deep understanding of communication tools and channels
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with a wide variety of cultures and functions / coach and develop co-workers in cross-functional teams
