Job Description
Meetings and Events Sourcing Manager building global travel procurement strategy for DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. Negotiating suppliers, reducing costs, and managing policies for the technology and logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Build and own the global Meetings & Events sourcing strategy across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo, including hotel room blocks, meeting venues, group transportation, and preferred supplier partnerships
- Develop and implement a global M&E policy and sourcing framework with consistent contracting, approval, compliance, and risk management standards
- Drive measurable savings and cost avoidance through strategic negotiations, supplier consolidation, and combined group and transient travel volume across hotels, airlines, and transportation
- Partner with Workplace & Real Estate, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Executive Assistants, and business leaders to deliver scalable sourcing solutions and improve the employee experience
- Establish reporting, KPIs, and supplier performance management to increase visibility into global M&E spend, track savings, mitigate contractual risks, and improve program efficiency
- Serve as the global DRI for Meetings & Events sourcing
- Report to the Head of Global Travel & Expense
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Meetings & Events, strategic sourcing, corporate travel, or hospitality, with expertise in global meetings and group travel
- Strong sourcing and negotiation skills, including hotel room blocks, venue contracts, attrition, cancellation terms, and supplier management
- Proven ability to drive savings and cost avoidance through preferred supplier programs, spend analysis, and leveraging combined group and transient travel volume
- Experience developing M&E policies, sourcing strategies, and scalable processes
- Strong project management and analytical capabilities
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience managing global stakeholders
- Experience leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency
