Job Description
Strategic research and financial validation manager at radiopharmaceutical company Telix Pharmaceuticals. Evaluating market opportunities, financial models, and portfolio investments for oncology and rare-disease products.
Responsibilities:
- Support market intelligence, strategic opportunity assessments, and financial analyses driving business decisions and growth
- Own financial-validation and strategic-research methodology for the Px Strategy organization
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, financial modeling, and commercial analysis into actionable recommendations
- Own the financial-modeling framework and build models for strategic opportunities
- Lead financial due-diligence analysis for mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing
- Develop commercial forecast models and perform sensitivity analyses
- Run market research studies for business development, acquisitions, licensing, partnerships, geographic expansion, products, and indications
- Develop opportunity assessments covering market attractiveness, competitive landscape, customer needs, reimbursement, adoption potential, and commercial viability
- Manage market research projects, industry databases, published literature, customer interviews, and KOL insights
- Assess TAM, SAM, growth rates, market trends, and future opportunities
- Translate complex datasets into business insights and create prioritization models
- Coordinate stakeholders, develop templates and scorecards, track project assumptions and milestones, manage the Px Strategy budget, and manage market research data
- Govern standardized methodologies and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Collaborate with Business Development, Upstream Marketing, Commercial, Finance, R&D, Regulatory, and regional business leaders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, market research, corporate development, business analytics, commercial strategy, or financial analysis
- Demonstrated experience conducting market sizing, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling
- Experience supporting executive leadership with strategic recommendations
- Experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Experience navigating and owning cross-functional collaboration
- Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and scenario analysis
- PowerPoint for executive presentations, including plugins such as think-cell
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms
- Market research databases such as IQVIA and Medscout
- CRM and commercial data systems
- Strong quantitative and statistical analysis capabilities
- Strong project management skills
- Experience evaluating new products, acquisitions, partnerships, licensing opportunities, or commercialization strategies strongly preferred
- Experience within medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals preferred
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
