Job Description
Math Instructor teaching core math skills and mentoring students at Vanguard College Prep. Focusing on long-term understanding and top scores in college readiness exams.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct small “core” groups of students in their mathcore skills
- Track your student’s progress as they move through Vanguard’s unique multi-phase curriculum
- Model professionalism and strong organizational skills
- Spearhead the development and creative execution of ever-evolving lesson plans and curriculum
- Mentor middle and high school students
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field
- Teaching experience in math and/or experience working in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years)
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a workspace with minimal noise/distraction
