Job Description
Medical Reviewer ensuring AbbVie promotional and non-promotional materials comply with UK pharmaceutical codes. Supporting brand teams, product launches, medical reviews, and compliant marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide brand support for the preparation and final signatory approval of promotional and non-promotional material and activities
- Attend Brand Team Meetings to ensure Medical Review Advisory agenda/focuses are communicated and understood
- Support implementation of a Code Compliant system for promotional and non-promotional activities throughout AbbVie and the marketplace
- Ensure compliance with ABPI standards, the MHRA blue guide, EFPIA, IFPMA, national codes, and national regulatory bodies
- Provide workable compliant solutions for business development opportunities and product launches
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns
- Independently, timely, and accurately review and approve materials in accordance with relevant Codes of Practice
- Evaluate materials while considering risk profiles in decision making
- Provide guidance on UK code requirements to overseas affiliates and the UK Affiliate
- Participate in cross-functional Medical Review Projects to build standard practices and solutions
- Adhere to the PMCPA Code of Practice in all aspects of work
- Present code cases to encourage team learning
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the therapy area and expert for the Brand team
Requirements:
- UK registered medical doctor or pharmacist essential
- Experience understanding, analysing, and communicating complex pharmacy, pharmacology, and medical issues across different therapeutic areas
- Successful completion of inhouse AbbVie qualification
- Experience in reference checking and copy approval
