Job Description

Therapist providing evidence-based virtual therapy to healthcare workers. Offering flexible hours and client matching while supporting mental health for healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based virtual therapy to adult healthcare workers
  • Deliver high-quality, confidential teletherapy sessions on our HIPAA-compliant video platform (Zoom) to doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in our streamlined EHR
  • Incorporate measurement-based tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor progress and improve outcomes

Requirements:

  • Independent licensure in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist
  • PLUS EMDR training or certification is required for this role, as well as experience utilizing EMDR via telehealth
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy to adults
  • Experience providing therapy to healthcare professionals, mental healthcare workers, and/or first responders
  • Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week
  • Comfort delivering therapy via video platforms, using EHRs, digital scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to incorporate assessment and measurement-based tools (i.e. PHQ-9) to monitor progress and improve treatment outcomes
  • Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR or Gottman Method
  • Commitment to practicing cultural humility and patient-centered care
  • Passion for supporting the mental health of healthcare workers!
