Job Description
Therapist providing evidence-based virtual therapy to healthcare workers. Offering flexible hours and client matching while supporting mental health for healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based virtual therapy to adult healthcare workers
- Deliver high-quality, confidential teletherapy sessions on our HIPAA-compliant video platform (Zoom) to doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes in our streamlined EHR
- Incorporate measurement-based tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor progress and improve outcomes
Requirements:
- Independent licensure in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist
- PLUS EMDR training or certification is required for this role, as well as experience utilizing EMDR via telehealth
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy to adults
- Experience providing therapy to healthcare professionals, mental healthcare workers, and/or first responders
- Availability for at least 10-15 hours per week
- Comfort delivering therapy via video platforms, using EHRs, digital scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
- Ability to incorporate assessment and measurement-based tools (i.e. PHQ-9) to monitor progress and improve treatment outcomes
- Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR or Gottman Method
- Commitment to practicing cultural humility and patient-centered care
