Job Description
Middle Java Automation QA Engineer ensuring high quality and stability of products for iGaming solutions company. Collaborating with teams to develop scalable, reliable automated testing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, executing, and maintaining detailed test cases and test scripts for various testing phases, including functional, regression, and integration testing;
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts or test scenarios to enhance testing efficiency and coverage;
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution and verification;
- Working collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure software quality;
- Participating in test strategy discussions and contributing to automation improvements;
- Reviewing test results, investigating failures, and collaborating with the team on root cause analysis;
- Maintaining test documentation and ensuring test coverage is aligned with product risks;
- Providing guidance and support to junior QA engineers, helping them develop their skills;
- Communicating test results, issues, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on quality objectives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar engineering role;
- Strong practical knowledge of Java and OOP principles;
- Experience with Playwright automation framework;
- Experience in API automation (e.g. RestAssured or equivalent);
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals and test design techniques;
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI);
- Proficiency in writing basic SQL queries;
- Skills in container technologies (e.g., Docker);
- Understanding of quality metrics/gates;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team;
- Good communication skills and a proactive mindset;
- English level - B1+.
