Job Description
Develops and maintains systems in C# and VB.NET for a company based in Brazil. Collaborates with teams to ensure quality and performance in applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain systems in C# and VB.NET, ensuring quality and performance.
- Analyze legacy code and propose refactorings.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations between internal and external systems.
- Work closely with functional analysts, QA engineers and DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews and define the team's technical standards.
- Support software architecture decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Requirements:
- Strong experience (minimum 5 years) with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Proficiency in C# and VB.NET (both legacy and new applications).
- Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Web API and Windows Services.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle), including stored procedures, triggers and views.
- Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ and ADO.NET.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps or GitLab).
- Experience with layered architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Code best practices.
- Ability to analyze and maintain legacy VB.NET systems and propose technical improvements.
- Familiarity with integrations via REST and SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus).
