Job Description
Node.js Developer for a gaming-related platform allowing players to earn real-world rewards. Work on high-load, scalable systems with a cross-functional team serving millions of users annually.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (NestJS, TypeScript)
- Design and support high-load, scalable systems (millions of users per year)
- Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, optimize performance and data models
- Implement caching and background processes (Redis, message queues where applicable)
- Support existing functionality and handle production issues
- Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and client-side team
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript (5+ years)
- Experience with Node.js (5+ years)
- NestJS 2+ year
- TypeORM 2+ year
- Knowledge of Redis
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases
