Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer developing cloud solutions for scalable performance at RTX Corporation. Collaborating with OCI engineers to innovate and optimize the Oracle Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • help shape strategy, operational direction, and apply hands-on OCI Network and Infrastructure engineering to drive real impact across our Oracle Cloud Platform.
  • Design and develop core OCI landing zone automation to support scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments.
  • Implement centralized landing zone management using OCI-native services such as Cloud Guard, Logging, Audit, and Identity domains.
  • Build and maintain OCI infrastructure using Terraform, Oracle Cloud CLI, Ansible, and API integrations.
  • Develop reusable modules, manage version-controlled deployments, and support environment-specific configurations.
  • Drive a self-service, automation-first mindset to empower stakeholders with secure, scalable, and efficient cloud deployment capabilities.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and automating OCI networking architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, route tables, security lists, and Network Security Groups (NSGs) to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or
  • an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or
  • in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated OCI engineering, DevOps practices, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Advanced proficiency with Terraform, Python, Ansible, Bash.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate across engineering and business teams.
