Job Description

Part-time project manager coordinating InStride’s Arizona State University partnership initiatives. Organizing cross-functional projects, meetings, documentation, and deliverables for an education-focused human capital management company.

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of key initiatives related to InStride’s partnership with Arizona State University under guidance from the VP, Strategic Partnerships
  • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables for ASU partnership initiatives
  • Coordinate work across InStride teams and ASU stakeholders
  • Coordinate recurring and project-specific meetings, including agendas, materials, decisions, and action items
  • Maintain project plans, meeting notes, decision logs, action-item trackers, timelines, and status updates
  • Use Asana, Confluence, Salesforce, and other collaboration tools to create transparency and accountability
  • Track outstanding actions, deliverables, owners, and deadlines; follow up and escalate blockers
  • Develop concise project status updates covering progress, milestones, decisions, risks, and next steps
  • Coordinate resolution of operational issues involving InStride and ASU
  • Identify and implement improvements to project, meeting, documentation, and cross-functional workflows

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be located in AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA, WI
  • 4+ years of experience in project management, program management, operations, consulting, or a similar role involving coordination of complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong follow-through and proactive action-item and commitment tracking
  • Ability to structure loosely defined initiatives with documentation, timelines, and accountability
  • Clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and perspectives
  • Proactive, adaptable, resourceful, and positive approach to challenges
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Practical problem-solving skills and ability to remove operational roadblocks
  • Experience working in higher education, education technology, or with large university systems is a plus but not required
  • Part-time availability of approximately 20 hours per week
  • Contract availability from October/November 2026 through April 2027
