Job Description
Part-time Pediatric Neurologist providing virtual pediatric neurology care for Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico. Leading clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and interdisciplinary care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care services for pediatric neurology patients
- Lead the care team in delivering efficient and compassionate care
- Oversee overall quality of care and clinical outcomes for pediatric neurology patients
- Manage physician/patient relationships and patient and family satisfaction
- Participate in system-wide health management initiatives
- Provide input on financial, clinical, service quality, budget, capital plan, and personnel matters
- Assist with developing and implementing clinical and service standards
- Receive and resolve patient complaints
- Participate in recruiting and replacing other providers
- Consult with and advise providers on optimal and cost-effective treatment
- Enhance professional growth through educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops
- Participate in team and multispecialty group meetings
- Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and reimbursement
- Help lead Advanced Practice Clinicians in delivering appropriate patient education and care
- Perform other functions as required
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology
- New Mexico medical license
