Job Description
Principal Software Engineer responsible for low-level design and technical guidance at Veradigm Asia. Contributing to software solutions and enhancing quality across healthcare systems.
Responsibilities:
- Creating low-level designs for complex software modules
- Providing technical guidance to the team
- Ensuring successful implementation of advanced software solutions
- Translating business requirements into functional requirements
- Enhancing quality and scalability of software solutions
- Driving innovation and best practices in development processes
- Owning technical roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Delivering end-to-end project delivery from concept to production support
- Inventing and evaluating new approaches, frameworks, and technologies
- Ensuring compliance with security best practices
- Conducting code reviews and enforcing high coding standards
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience
- Good understanding of architectural and design patterns
- Provide detailed low-level designs for complex software modules and subsystems
- Offer expert technical guidance to the development team
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional requirements
- Exhibit leadership qualities by driving innovation
- Define and own technical roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project delivery
- Ability to invent, prototype, and evaluate new approaches, frameworks, and technologies
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
- Hands-on experience in SQL Server
- Proficiency in .NET technologies and C#
- Knowledge in RAD application development using Delphi (advantage)
- Skilled in conducting code reviews
- Expertise with Git and GitHub
- Comfortable working in agile environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Azure fundamentals (AZ-900 certification is a plus)
- Knowledge of Healthcare Domain and Health Information Exchange (advantage)
