Job Description

Product Design Engineer taking autism-care software features from user problem to production. Designing in Figma and building polished React interfaces for Tellos.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand user problems by talking with users, observing workflows, and separating real problems from requested solutions
  • Decide what to build by defining the simplest useful solution and prioritizing what can wait
  • Design clear, thoughtful interfaces and prototypes in Figma
  • Turn designs into polished, production-ready React interfaces
  • Observe product usage and iterate based on real user behavior
  • Improve existing workflows, components, interactions, and design consistency
  • Collaborate with the team and users
  • Take a product or feature from problem to production and explain the research, decisions, design, and implementation personally
  • Build software supporting autism care workflows, including family intake, therapist recruiting, scheduling, documentation, billing, and practice management

Requirements:

  • Strong product judgment and comfort working through ambiguous problems
  • Excellent UX and visual design skills
  • Strong frontend engineering experience with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS
  • Ability to move naturally between Figma and production code
  • High standards for typography, spacing, responsiveness, states, and interaction details
  • Experience using AI tools to prototype and ship faster without sacrificing judgment
  • Clear communication and comfort collaborating with a remote U.S.-based team
  • Bias toward ownership, speed, and finishing what you start
