Job Description
Product Engineer building full-stack AI-powered products for Board Intelligence, a technology and advisory firm improving board effectiveness. Owning enterprise solutions from client needs through scalable system design and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and ship full-stack features for new and existing AI-powered products
- Work with clients and product colleagues to understand needs and design solutions
- Own technical design of complex system components and make scalable architecture decisions
- Use AI tools such as Claude Code daily while maintaining high engineering quality
- Balance speed with security, reliability and data protection for enterprise clients
- Contribute to engineering practices through code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Own problems end to end, from understanding client needs through system design and delivery
Requirements:
- Upper mid-level to senior professional software engineering experience
- Full-stack experience and willingness to build whatever the problem needs
- Strong TypeScript
- Experience with a backend language such as Java or C#
- System design experience, ideally as the go-to architect for a complex system
- Already building with AI coding tools such as Claude Code
- Experience discovering client needs and turning them into well-designed solutions
- Experience owning problems end to end
- Understanding of enterprise client needs
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience building LLM-powered features in production (nice to have)
- Experience building software for enterprise clients, ideally in regulated industries (nice to have)
