Job Description
Program Manager leading planning and delivery of strategic programs in Medicare line of business at Centene. Responsible for oversight of complex projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the planning and delivery of strategic programs and complex, large-scale enterprise-wide projects within our Medicare line of business
- Provide leadership, direction, and hands-on support to matrixed teams
- Create and present executive level communications
- Lead large scale, cross functional projects for implementation or process improvement
- Oversee all aspects of program planning, management, and execution
- Create meaningful dashboards for executive level update and project status
- Work with teams to create reports for ongoing analytics post project implementation
- Prepare and deliver documents for Program Steering Committees to the Executive team
- Proactively manage areas such as risk, budget/forecast, dependencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required
- 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management tools required
- Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross-functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of staff required
- Healthcare experience and/or managed care experience preferred
- Medicare experience highly preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) preferred
