Job Description
Project Control Manager overseeing a portfolio of energy sector projects over $100m. Leading coordination efforts with clients and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring effective coordination between planners and financial controllers
- participate in key coordination meetings to ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on schedule and cost related matters
- monitor progress and analyze critical paths to ensure milestones are met
- assist in preparing and following up on Variation Order requests
- establish baseline plans for cost performance measurement
- oversee regular progress reports using standardized templates and Power BI tools
- communicate deviations and issues to Project Managers and propose solutions
Requirements:
- Previous 5 years’ experience as a Project Control Manager within a similar industry (preferably for EPC projects)
- Strong experience in project planning and scheduling, cost management, change management and broader project management related topics
- Knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6, both Client and EPPM versions, and ability to operate “hands on” inside the project schedule
- Knowledge of Power BI, including ability to develop and customize project specific reports
- Willingness to travel when required
