Job Description

Project Coordinator supporting claims administration, settlement benefits, and case management operations. Tracking projects, processing claims data, and coordinating vendors for a three-month remote assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support company-wide case management through skip tracing, escalated claimant communications, IVRs, social media, and document retention initiatives
  • Directly support case management with Project Management staff
  • Assist with implementation of detailed project plans and tracking of progress
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including status updates, deadlines, and task ownership
  • Monitor and communicate project status against milestones and schedules
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution
  • Assist with creation and execution of case invoices
  • Review settlement agreement documentation and understand case requirements
  • Assist with processing, deduplication, normalization, optimization, and analysis of large datasets and prepare reports
  • Process claims and incoming correspondence accurately and timely according to settlement agreements
  • Review claims and supporting documentation to determine eligibility
  • Follow adjudication policies and procedures for payment or placement in appropriate programs
  • Research and respond to notice packet requests
  • Skip trace undeliverable notices and checks
  • Resolve claims adjudication problems
  • Assist with distribution of settlement benefits and post-distribution services
  • Protect confidential information
  • Maintain customer service for clients and claimants
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues and meet with managers to provide feedback and facilitate communication
  • Follow business processes, take on new responsibilities, and perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of project support or associate experience in business, accounting, finance, paralegal or other related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments
  • Financial, insurance, and legal industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and research skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly when urgent matters require it
  • Ability to work with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies
  • Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
