Job Description
Project Electrical Engineer designing electrical infrastructure for Olsson’s large U.S. hyperscale data centers. Managing projects, preparing design documents, calculating designs, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare planning and design documents
- Process design calculations
- Develop and maintain team and client standards
- Serve as project manager on some projects
- Lead design engineer on other projects
- Lead quality assurance/quality control when needed
- Act as an advisor on complex projects
- Coordinate with Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, clients, and other consultants
- Work on large hyperscale data center campuses and complex engineering-driven projects throughout the U.S.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of related mechanical engineering experience required
- PE License
- Proficient in Revit
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Must be a registered professional engineer
- Project management experience preferred
- Previous experience managing employees preferred
