Job Description
Remote Project Management Analyst supporting HII’s defense technology programs. Tracking STINGRAI budgets, schedules, contracts, and risks across DoD operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and track project and budget status for STINGRAI
- Manage schedules and prepare status reports
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress
- Support intervention and problem-solving efforts with project managers, line managers, and customers
- Oversee and coordinate operational aspects of ongoing STINGRAI projects
- Serve as a liaison between project management, planning, the project team, and leadership
- Assist in developing contract-required products, including technical direction plans and rough-order-of-magnitude pricing
- Manage the risk register
Requirements:
- 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 1 year relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience supporting complex technical projects or programs within the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Solid understanding of DoD project management standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Preferred: active Secret clearance
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential
- Preferred: familiarity with DoD-specific project management methodologies and tools, including MS Project
