Job Description
Project Management Consultant providing support for climate change resilience projects in Belize. Leading project management activities, stakeholder communication, and ensuring compliance with funding regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support in overall project management, coordination, and fiduciary oversight to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of all project outputs and outcomes.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring effective coordination among all executing and partner entities.
- Ensure that project activities are implemented on schedule, within budget, and according to the specified technical standards.
- Support all financial management aspects in strict compliance with PACT's Regulatory Framework and AF Operational Policies.
- Monitor project progress against the Results Framework, including core AF indicators and gender-disaggregated targets.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between PACT, CZMAI, NMS, and other key partners.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Climate Change Adaptation, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Coastal Zone Management, International Development, or related field with additional 3 years of relevant experience related to Project Management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder development projects, preferably in climate adaptation, environment, or natural resources sectors.
- Experience with international donor-funded projects (e.g., Adaptation Fund, Green Climate Fund, GEF, World Bank, UNDP).
- Experience in financial management, budget oversight, and procurement in compliance with international fiduciary standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare high-quality technical and financial reports for PACT.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish would be an asset.
