Job Description

Project Management Specialist coordinating Accela’s government software implementations for utilities and local governments. Managing plans, stakeholders, risks, and delivery teams from kickoff through go-live.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate software implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and transition to support
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for project communications and stakeholder updates
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, project meetings, and customer workshops
  • Coordinate activities across delivery teams, including configuration, integrations, testing, reporting, and deployment
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items and help drive resolution
  • Support change request management, project documentation, and delivery governance processes
  • Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and implementation methodologies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, professional services, software implementation, or a related field
  • Experience supporting customer-facing projects and working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience preparing project plans, status updates, meeting notes, and other project documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Geography/GIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferred: 3+ years experience working with Esri's GIS technology
  • Preferred: Experience supporting software implementation, configuration, integrations, or reporting projects
  • Preferred: Knowledge of utilities, local government, asset management, or related industries
  • Preferred: Familiarity with project management tools and implementation methodologies
  • Preferred: Ability to travel occasionally as needed
