Job Description
Project Manager overseeing Data Services projects within a healthcare setting, focusing on change management and governance. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely project solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing one or more Data Services projects with simple to intermediate complexity
- Interacting closely with internal staff and business partners to effectively develop and deliver project solutions
- Ensures adherence to project management processes and best practices as defined by Data Services
- Serves as a primary point-of-contact for assigned projects, managing day-to-day activities and resources
- Administers meetings, learning sessions, and communication with all levels of organization within City of Hope and its contracted vendors
- Completes project deliverables that are timely and meet quality and customer expectations
- Manages project change requests needed to adjust schedule, budget, or scope
- Develops and delivers timely status reports, project metrics or other management reports required by leadership and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, 3 additional years of experience plus the minimum requirement may substitute for minimum education
- 3+ years of experience in a project management capacity
- Proficiency managing cross-functional or matrixed teams
- Experience developing and managing integrated work plans
- Experience collaborating with project stakeholders (business and IT), sponsors and team, including vendors understanding of project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
- Preferred: Program/Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Process Improvement
- PMP Certification
- Experience in Healthcare Industry
