Job Description

Project Manager delivering client projects and programs for Humentum, a global nonprofit strengthening humanitarian and development organizations. Managing delivery, budgets, stakeholders, and client relationships remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client projects
  • Ensure efficiency of client delivery processes
  • Run and maintain key projects using Humentum’s agreed systems and processes
  • Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders
  • Act as a source of knowledge and guidance on Humentum products
  • Meet with clients and consultants to explain products and offerings, address concerns, and align with needs and expectations
  • Manage and optimize delivery processes so projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget while providing excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate client delivery into Humentum’s service offerings and maintain quality and process efficiency
  • Coordinate with the sales team to generate new leads
  • Manage relationships with past and current clients
  • Support refinement of project management procedures and tools
  • Contribute to other Humentum activities as assigned (5%)

Requirements:

  • Preferable business and/or project management qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the social sector and common organizational needs in compliance, financial management, program management, and people development
  • Experience using database administration tools
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with project management software
  • Experience managing leads and scheduling resources within a professional services or similar team or function
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Strong portfolio and project management skills
  • Highly organized approach to work
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders’ expectations
  • Ability to identify client needs and flexibly modify proposals, project plans, and presentation style
  • Experience building and managing budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Independent problem-solving ability
  • Must be able to work 13:00–16:00 UTC
  • Must be located with legal right to work in the United States, United Kingdom, Kenya, or India
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Appropriate environment for leading and participating in video-enabled virtual meetings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
