Job Description

Project Manager deploying public-warning and critical-communications solutions for governments and enterprises in Australia. Managing technical implementations, budgets, risks, stakeholders, and customer escalations across global delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and manage all phases of project life cycles, including governance plans, schedules, goals, milestones, success criteria, and budgets
  • Own project budgets, timelines, issues, risks, decisions, and overall project success
  • Lead requirements gathering and obtain sign-off on deliverables, design documentation, and user test plans
  • Support customer governance models and adapt to cultural and environmental nuances
  • Track project performance and analyze short- and long-term goals
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships
  • Perform risk management and maintain third-party/vendor relationships
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to gather ordering briefs and clarify project requirements
  • Collaborate with delivery teams across Europe, Asia, and the US and occasionally travel there for training
  • Track customer satisfaction KPIs and manage improvement action plans
  • Troubleshoot customer concerns, document and escalate critical issues
  • Advocate for customers internally and report feedback to Account Management, Product Management, and Engineering
  • Prepare and deliver status updates and reports to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a customer-facing role is required
  • Experience deploying systems in an international telecommunications or government domain
  • Significant experience managing large, technical projects
  • Proven experience working in a matrix environment and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills; PMP certification or at minimum CAPM
  • Ability to handle and support conflicting priorities
  • Working knowledge of highly available architectures, computer security, telephony, and networking
  • Proven track record coordinating internal departments and resources to solve complex customer support or implementation problems
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teams
  • High energy level and a can-do attitude
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, and web-based applications
  • Understanding of business continuity or emergency-management practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field is a plus (optional)
