Job Description
Project Manager leading cross-functional projects for InsCipher, which develops compliance solutions for insurance reporting and tax filings. Managing SaaS initiatives, process improvements, and system rollouts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects of varying size and complexity
- Coordinate stakeholders, assign tasks, and drive accountability while completing project tasks as needed
- Partner with executive sponsors and department leaders to scope internal projects
- Define objectives, deliverables, success criteria, constraints, and ownership
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and responsibilities
- Track progress, remove blockers, manage scope changes, and hold contributors accountable
- Coordinate project work across Customer Success, Filing Services, Accounting, Compliance, Product, Development, Sales, Finance, and other departments
- Balance strategic initiatives with smaller projects requiring direct execution of routine tasks
- Communicate status updates, risk escalations, and decision requests to stakeholders from individual contributors to the C-suite
- Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, and status meetings; document decisions and next steps
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and interdependencies
- Maintain visibility into the internal project portfolio and support leadership prioritization and capacity balancing
- Establish and improve project management standards, templates, and tools
- Lead post-project retrospectives and apply lessons learned
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment
- Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a hands-on project manager, balancing project coordination and stakeholder management with direct execution of project tasks as needed
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain structure and momentum across multiple concurrent projects
- PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred
- Insurtech or surplus lines experience preferred
