Job Description
Project Manager coordinating complex client marketing projects at Go Fish Digital, an engineering-forward performance marketing agency. Managing plans, resources, risks, timelines, and margins across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own the execution system for a portfolio of complex client accounts and projects
- Translate approved strategy and project decisions into work plans, tasks, milestones, dependencies, owners, and timelines
- Build and maintain realistic project schedules reflecting scope, priorities, team capacity, and delivery dependencies
- Monitor execution, adjust plans as conditions change, and ensure decisions move into action
- Maintain project structure in ClickUp with clear tasks, ownership, due dates, estimates, prioritization, and actionable context
- Coordinate work across Client Strategy, delivery teams, and other contributors
- Translate internal decisions into next steps and clarify dependencies, priorities, and expectations
- Identify handoff gaps, conflicting priorities, and unclear ownership
- Maintain continuity across teams and preserve important decisions, requests, and project context
- Identify work at risk of delay and monitor team capacity and workload constraints
- Escalate trade-offs and operational risks related to scope, timelines, dependencies, staffing, or workflow
- Review projects for overdue work, dependency issues, capacity concerns, and delivery timeline risks
- Protect project and account margin through planning, time estimates, workflow control, and effort visibility
- Monitor time tracking and hours against project expectations
- Support deferred revenue forecasting and revenue-recognition schedules where applicable
- Partner with Client Strategy and Operations when project demands exceed planned scope, capacity, or financial assumptions
- Support onboarding and kickoff by establishing project structure, timelines, milestones, tasks, and internal ownership
- Develop execution schedules for project-based engagements and align internal teams before client commitments are confirmed
- Maintain project documentation and structure throughout engagements
- Support transitions when timelines, priorities, services, or team members change
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably in a marketing agency, professional-services firm, or multi-client environment
- Ability to translate strategy and broad direction into clear, actionable project plans
- Experience coordinating work across multiple teams, disciplines, and dependencies
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining visibility into priorities, risks, and deadlines
- Strong follow-through and willingness to remain engaged until work is complete
- Ability to build realistic timelines, manage dependencies, and anticipate execution risks
- Sound judgment when priorities compete, information is incomplete, or teams have conflicting needs
- Ability to distinguish between an urgent request and a true project priority
- Confidence challenging unrealistic timelines, unclear ownership, or commitments that do not align with available capacity
- Ability to escalate risks at the right time and level
- Strong working knowledge of project-management platforms; experience with ClickUp strongly preferred
- Comfort working with time estimates, capacity data, project hours, margin visibility, and execution reporting
- Ability to maintain highly organized project structures and accurate task-level information
- Comfort using operational data to identify project risk and guide action
- Curiosity about AI and automation and how they can improve project planning, documentation, coordination, or visibility
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to turn meetings and strategic discussions into actionable tasks, owners, deadlines, and dependencies
- Confidence following up with teammates, challenging unclear requests, and holding stakeholders accountable professionally
- Ability to partner effectively with Client Strategy and delivery teams without taking over strategic or client-facing responsibilities
- Calm, responsive, and practical working style
