Job Description

LTS ServiceNow QA Analyst testing federal VA platform enhancements and tracking defects. Coordinating release readiness, deployment validation, documentation, and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for ServiceNow platform capabilities and enhancements
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to review requirements, assess testability, and ensure quality checkpoints are met
  • Support the implementation and use of the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test data, and supporting testing documentation
  • Identify, document, validate, and track software defects through resolution
  • Coordinate release readiness activities and perform deployment validation
  • Prepare and publish release notes for platform deployments, enhancements, and updates
  • Track release schedules, change records, implementation documentation, and related deployment activities
  • Support platform governance, compliance, and operational procedures
  • Assist with quality and operational reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate testing status, release readiness, risks, issues, and dependencies to appropriate technical and program stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities and collaborate across teams to support timely, high-quality platform releases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience; or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, platform operations, release management, or a related IT discipline
  • Experience working with ServiceNow and enterprise platform environments
  • Strong knowledge of test planning, test execution, defect management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
  • Experience supporting functional, regression, integration, and/or user acceptance testing
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile software delivery teams
  • Experience coordinating software or platform releases, including release readiness, deployment validation, change tracking, and supporting documentation
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to develop and maintain test cases, test plans, release documentation, and operational artifacts
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain client-required access as needed
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (nice to have)
  • Additional hands-on ServiceNow experience (nice to have)
  • ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) experience (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, and Release Management (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with APIs and enterprise integrations (nice to have)
  • Understanding of basic scripting concepts (nice to have)
  • Experience supporting enterprise or federal IT environments (nice to have)
