Job Description

Real-Time Audit & Compliance Specialist ensuring solar project submissions meet company standards and compliance requirements. Conducting real-time audits and documenting findings while working in the solar energy sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct real-time audits of submitted solar deals, including contracts, financing agreements, proposals, and supporting documentation
  • Validate accuracy and completeness of all deal components prior to approval or submission
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and utility/jurisdictional requirements
  • Identify and flag discrepancies, missing information, or potential compliance risks
  • Return deals for correction with clear, actionable audit notes
  • Maintain audit logs and documentation of all findings and outcomes
  • Monitor audit trends and report recurring issues to leadership
  • Partner with operations, compliance, and training teams to reduce error rates and improve submission quality
  • Uphold audit integrity by applying standards consistently across all submissions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in solar operations, compliance, auditing, or quality control
  • Strong understanding of solar project lifecycle and documentation requirements
  • Knowledge of financing structures (loans, PPAs, cash deals)
  • Familiarity with basic system design and proposal components
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors and risk factors
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy
  • Strong written communication skills for documenting audit findings
  • Comfortable working independently and making objective, standards-based decisions
  • Experience with CRM systems and solar proposal platforms preferred.
