Job Description

Regional Account Manager for Viatris managing sales strategies in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsible for developing relationships and tactical plans to enhance product accessibility and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing tactical plans at the regional level
  • Accountable for understanding the business, including pricing/contracting, supply chain, and payor reimbursement
  • Lead the development of strategic and tactical plans at the Area, District, and Territory level
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with customers
  • Proactively prospect for new business and accounts
  • Analyze weekly and monthly sales results
  • Interpret results and lead in the development of strategic action plans

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Must possess knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including pricing/contracting, supply chain, and payor reimbursement
  • Strong working knowledge of customer accounts, products, and internal departments required
  • Must possess excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships required
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and have good organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required
