Job Description

Research Data Scientist II conducting statistical analysis and machine learning for healthcare at Cleveland Clinic. Collaborating on innovative research projects to improve patient care using advanced data techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Use statistical analysis, machine learning methods, and advanced data technologies to analyze complex datasets and develop predictive models
  • Leverage programming languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python to manage, extract, and analyze data from relational databases
  • Collaborate with clinical investigators on human-based study design and statistical analysis
  • Document best practices and solution frameworks
  • Communicate and present analytical findings to other investigators

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning OR Master’s degree and two years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning OR PhD in a similar field
  • Highly proficient programming skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, or similar
