Job Description
Nurse Auditor performing charge audits and assessments for Ensemble's revenue cycle management solutions. Ensuring compliance and timely resolution of charges while educating stakeholders on best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform charge audits and potential client assessments
- Timely resolution of incorrect and/or missing charges
- Conduct regular audits for missing revenue
- Educate stakeholders on standards for documentation and charge capture practices
- Review Injection & Infusion work queues in Epic
- Resolve missing and error charges identified by Opera Solutions software
- Conduct site visits to clients for assessments and training
- Maintain understanding of government rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Current RN or LPN Licensure
- CCDI (Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement) or CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or COC (Certified Outpatient Coder) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor)
- Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/Revenue codes
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with ability to complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Experience in physician and hospital operations, compliance and provider relations
