Job Description
Sage X3 Project Manager delivering ERP implementations for Net at Work’s small and mid-size business clients. Managing client relationships, project execution, budgets, risks, and transitions.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with client stakeholders
- Manage client communications and provide strategic updates
- Align project execution with client goals and ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate transition to post-implementation support
- Identify opportunities for additional services or solutions
- Develop project plans covering timelines, milestones, budgets, deliverables, and resources
- Lead team onboarding and facilitate internal and client-facing kickoff meetings
- Lead project execution within scope, timelines, and budgets
- Assign and coordinate tasks across cross-functional teams
- Review and approve project time entries
- Oversee project financials, revenue recognition, and budget tracking
- Facilitate discovery, scoping, development, and delivery of change requests
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans and workflows as needed
- Manage third-party project deliverables
- Serve as liaison for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead project status meetings and distribute status summaries, meeting recaps, and recordings
- Maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and project documentation
- Provide updates to clients and executive leadership
- Identify, assess, and resolve project issues and risks
- Escalate risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
- Lead project closure meetings and coordinate transitions to support teams
- Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement
- Recommend improvements to administrative and operational processes
- Contribute to process analysis, redesign, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience leading ERP implementation projects for Sage X3 or similar ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor, Syspro, ProccessPRO, MS Dynamics)
- Proven success managing end-to-end ERP projects within Process Manufacturing or Distribution Manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in scope
- Strong project management foundation
- Solid understanding of ERP concepts
- Experience in process manufacturing or distribution manufacturing desired
- Proven track record of achieving business objectives and meeting key performance metrics
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PMP Certification required
- Ability to travel a minimum of 20% to client locations in the US
- May require customer approval for access to customer information, systems, and/or premises
