Job Description
Sales Consultant educating financial advisors and wholesalers on retirement plan design, compliance, and TPA services. Driving customized solutions and new business for a nationwide ERISA consulting firm.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, wholesalers, and other key stakeholders in the assigned territory
- Educate partners on retirement plan design, compliance testing, and government reporting
- Deliver presentations, webinars, and consultations supporting advisor sales efforts and explaining TPA services
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver customized retirement plan solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in retirement plan administration
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years in retirement plan sales, TPA services, or related financial services
- Deep knowledge of retirement plan administration
- Strong understanding of plan design, compliance testing, Form 5500 reporting, and other regulatory requirements
- Established network of financial advisors and wholesalers within the territory
- Ability to clearly explain complex retirement plan concepts to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable navigating consultative sales cycles and positioning value beyond price
- Highly motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
- Must be based in the Northeast or West Coast territory
- Uninterrupted virtual workspace required for remote work
- Family care must be in place during business hours
- Internet speed of 50 MBps or better for individual use
