Job Description
Sales Executive managing B2B customer relationships in Florida for World Fuel Services. Focused on customer acquisition and retaining existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an existing book of business (200+ accounts) with immediate revenue responsibility
- Identify and close new B2B customer opportunities across the Florida market
- Develop account strategies focused on retention, growth, and margin improvement
- Sell and cross‑sell World Fuel solutions including fuel cards, bulk fuel delivery, diesel, gas, and DEF
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and fueling needs
- Conduct regular in‑person customer visits across Orlando, Tampa, and Miami
- Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts, and activity tracking within CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams including Supply, Logistics, Credit, and Customer Operations
- Monitor market conditions and competitive activity within the territory
- Operate in compliance with company, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a field‑based or customer‑facing role
- Proven ability to manage an active book of business while driving new customer growth
- Experience selling to Commercial & Industrial customers, fleets, or owner‑operators
- Short‑cycle, high‑activity sales experience (transactional + consultative)
- Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and closing skills
- Highly organized and disciplined with territory and account management
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, field‑based environment
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Florida
