Job Description

Sales Representative managing education and medical research sales efforts in Houston. Building relationships with researchers, scientists, and operational staff in a consultative selling role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all sales activities within your assigned territory
  • Act as the CEO of your territory
  • Own and grow a defined sales territory
  • Sell consultatively by understanding customer needs
  • Prospect and acquire new customers
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Collaborate with product specialists, manufacturer partners, and sales leadership
  • Manage a diverse product portfolio

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in a complex sales environment
  • 2+ years of life sciences work
  • Proven track record of verifiable sales success
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Ability to utilize best in class selling processes and technology platforms including Salesforce.com and Qlikview
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations 5 days a week
