Job Description
Salesforce Developer building scalable, cloud-integrated solutions for Fortune 1000 clients. Developing Apex applications, enterprise integrations, automated tests, and CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients to analyze business problems and design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions
- Develop, customize, test, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Salesforce Flow, platform events, asynchronous Apex, and declarative and programmatic capabilities
- Design solutions across Salesforce products and clouds based on client requirements and project needs
- Build and maintain Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and other integration patterns
- Apply software engineering best practices, including object-oriented design, source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD
- Develop software and integration components using JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or similar modern languages and frameworks
- Integrate Salesforce with cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Develop comprehensive automated tests and maintain appropriate Salesforce code coverage while ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable, and secure
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, administrators, product teams, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Gain experience across multiple clients and industries, adapting to different Salesforce implementations, technical stacks, and business environments
- Build trust with clients and internal teams through communication, problem-solving, and execution
- Hiring process may include a preliminary phone interview, video interviews, and a take-home exercise due within one week
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, and declarative platform capabilities
- Proficiency in at least one programming language outside the Salesforce ecosystem, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and at least one major public cloud platform, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with external applications using APIs, middleware, event-driven patterns, or other enterprise integration approaches
- Experience with source control, automated testing, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, and modern Salesforce development and deployment practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical client stakeholders
- Proven ability to analyze complex business and technical problems and design practical, scalable solutions
- Salesforce-specific certifications are strongly preferred, such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or relevant Salesforce Architect certifications
