Job Description

Project Manager responsible for overseeing climate-resilient water supply systems in Belize. Ensuring effective project execution and stakeholder engagement for Sustainable Water Resource Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership, technical oversight and day-to-day management of the project
  • Ensure results-oriented implementation in line with the requirements of the AF, the PACT, and the MRTCDLG
  • Lead and manage the Project Execution Unit (PEU) established under the project
  • Coordinate the work of technical staff, consultants, contractors, and service providers
  • Report to the MRTCDLG and work in close coordination with PACT’s Adaptation Fund Project Coordinator (AFPC)
  • Establish and maintain robust monitoring and evaluation systems

Requirements:

  • A minimum of nine (9) years of general work experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of specific work experience in managing projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication abilities
  • Experience with results-based management and M&E frameworks
  • Knowledge of Belize or similar socio-economic contexts is an asset
