Job Description
Project Manager responsible for overseeing climate-resilient water supply systems in Belize. Ensuring effective project execution and stakeholder engagement for Sustainable Water Resource Management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership, technical oversight and day-to-day management of the project
- Ensure results-oriented implementation in line with the requirements of the AF, the PACT, and the MRTCDLG
- Lead and manage the Project Execution Unit (PEU) established under the project
- Coordinate the work of technical staff, consultants, contractors, and service providers
- Report to the MRTCDLG and work in close coordination with PACT’s Adaptation Fund Project Coordinator (AFPC)
- Establish and maintain robust monitoring and evaluation systems
Requirements:
- A minimum of nine (9) years of general work experience
- A minimum of seven (7) years of specific work experience in managing projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication abilities
- Experience with results-based management and M&E frameworks
- Knowledge of Belize or similar socio-economic contexts is an asset
Benefits:
