Job Description
Senior Accountant managing financial close, reconciliations, audits, and controls. Supporting Fujifilm’s healthcare, imaging, diagnostics, and NDT solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Finance & Accounting activities in the assigned focus area with minimal management oversight and a high degree of independence
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Ensure transactions comply with GAAP, JSOX, internal policies, procedures, FDA requirements, ISO 13485, and applicable laws and standards
- Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting documentation according to the closing schedule
- Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analyses
- Analyze financial statements and recommend improvements to business performance or efficiency
- Prepare documentation and support internal and external audit requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and continuously improve financial, business, and internal control processes
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and special projects for the Director Finance & Accounting or VP Finance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 6+ years of Finance & Accounting experience
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- SAP experience preferred
- Flexibility to work late hours if needed
- Ability to sit up 75–100% of applicable work time
- Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time
- Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time
- Ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time
- Close vision: ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less
- Occasional travel of up to 25% may be required
- Must comply with applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 requirements, and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards
