Job Description

Accountant responsible for financial processes in a remote role at a healthcare company. Collaborating on accounts management and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with HGB.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Monitor outstanding items and proactively communicate with health and long-term care insurance providers
  • Responsible for the complete accounting of our care services using DATEV Rechnungswesen (DATEV Rewe) and DUO
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB for all care services
  • Continuously optimize and digitize financial processes

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounting or working with financial matters
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., DATEV, Lexoffice, or similar)
  • Solid knowledge of financial statements under HGB and at least 2–3 years of professional experience in the finance area
  • Ideally you have completed or are currently pursuing the Bilanzbuchhalter qualification (certified balance sheet accountant)
  • Completed commercial or tax-related vocational training, or a degree in business administration (Bachelor/Master)
  • Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Proficient in DATEV Rechnungswesen and DUO
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit
  • Interest in process improvement and digitization
