Job Description
Senior Android Development Consultant at intive designing scalable Android applications. Collaborating with diverse teams to drive innovation in digital experiences across industries.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and building scalable, robust Android applications using Kotlin and modern architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM)
- Applying SOLID and clean code principles, using Gradle and unit tests (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure high code quality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, product owners and stakeholders, and contributing to technical and architecture discussions
- Designing fit-for-purpose, scalable solutions and participating in code reviews
- Mentoring other engineers, supporting technical strategy, and promoting engineering best practices
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience in core Android development with Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with modern Android architectures (e.g. MVVM) and scalable mobile applications
- Solid understanding of SOLID, clean, maintainable code and Gradle-based Android projects
- Practical experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Proven experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers and presenting technical concepts to internal teams
